The Behavioral Health Department at Wellness Pointe strives to provide the community with access to high-quality psychological, psychiatric, and social services across the lifespan without regard to insurance status or ability to pay. As part of this mission, Wellness Pointe has opened a school-based clinic located on the campus of Longview High School. This allows students to access needed mental health services without leaving their school campus and reduces the amount of class time that they will miss.

Behavioral Health services are provided by licensed mental health providers including a psychologist, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Professional Counselors, and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors. Our providers have many years of clinical experience in treating complex and severe behavioral/emotional problems, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, anger management, substance abuse, and behavioral dysregulation. The Wellness Pointe Behavioral Health school-based clinic is currently staffed by Licensed Professional Counselors only with other services available by telehealth as appropriate to the patient’s needs. Our on-site counselors provide individual counseling, focused group counseling, and, if needed, consultation with school personnel and teachers regarding student mental health and behavioral issues.
