John Shum MD

Education:
Undergraduate Degree at Baylor University in Chemistry; Medical school in Galveston at UTMB; Family Medicine training in Tyler at UTHCT; OB-GYN at John Peter Smith in Fort Worth.

Bio:
Dr. Shum grew-up in Amarillo, Texas. During Family Medicine training Dr. Shum encountered the love of his life–His wife, who encouraged and supported his enjoyment of delivering babies. During OB-GYN residency, they had their first two daughters. Dr. Shum and his family returned to East Texas in 2007, where he has continued to grow his family and serve the communities of East Texas.
