
Candy Cole, LPC-S
Candy Walters‑Cole is a Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology who brings decades of experience supporting the emotional and developmental needs of children and adolescents. She began her career in 2003 in the school setting, where she served as a school psychologist, working closely with students, families, and educators. In 2020, she expanded into private practice, continuing her commitment to child-centered, compassionate care.
Candy earned her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from The University of Texas at Tyler and is currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology. She is EMDR-trained and is in the process of completing certification in Child-Centered Play Therapy, enhancing her ability to meet children at their level through developmentally appropriate approaches.
Guided by a philosophy of empathy and trust, Candy creates a safe, supportive environment where children feel heard and empowered. Her client-centered approach encourages open communication and collaboration with families to foster long-term growth and emotional resilience.
Outside of her professional life, Candy enjoys her doctoral studies, exploring new places through travel, and relaxing with a good reality TV show.
